CHRISTINA FLOWERS COMMISSION PROCESS
-
I offer commission in a variety of sizes (including custom sizes!) That being said, I only create commissioned paintings that are larger than 30×24 inches.
Additionally, you can choose for your artwork to be square, vertical, or horizontal. I also offer Diptych paintings like my Antipode Collection. (Two canvases that come together to make one painting.) -
We will collaborate in this area of the creative process, but if there are specific colors, shades, or tones you would like me to include, I want to know!
For example:
Warm vs. cool tones
Greens and blues vs. Yellows and pinks
A specific shade of lilac…
You can share your inspiration, or a color palette you’re in love with, another painting of mine, images of the room the art will be hanging in, or anything you’d like!
-
Send me the names or images from my website that drew you to my work.
-
When you have a vision in mind, reserve your commission and we’ll get started! Send me an email to let me know you are interested. I will confirm the details and pricing with you.
See below for the sizes offered and pricing. I can also create custom sizes as needed.
-
Once we finalize size, price, painting style and timeline, I will send you a link for your 50% deposit.
I will then create a sketch of the painting with the agreed colors. Once the sketch is approved, the painting begins (the best part)!
I will send photos of the painting once it is complete and, with your final approval and final payment, I will pack and ship the painting to you.
Last step, you unpack the painting and hang your gorgeous, one of a kind painting in your home. Send photos if you’d like!
-
All prices reflect the cost of the artwork only (acrylic and ink on cotton canvas) and do not include shipping, framing, or additional edits.
Payment plans are also available. Larger and custom sizes are available and priced at roughly $3 per square inch
24×30: $2300
30x40: $3,800
36x36: $4,000
36x48: $4,900
48x60: $9,000 ( with an option to ship unstretched)
Because shipping extra-large artwork can be extremely costly and risky, if you choose a piece larger than 36x48, we will work together to figure out delivery or to have the canvas painting stretched at a local fine art framing shop.
